DOLLFACE
After having made dozens of “portraits” of female mannequins (15 of them are arranged in a grid in the “Fe(Male) gaze gallery) I began making photographs of doll heads. I now have well over a hundred of them, shot as found, using available light and an iPhone. This work is still in the editing stage, but a few of my favorites are shown here. Though I still avoid photographing “real” people, these studies bring me a step closer.
