FUSION

The joining together of particles and atoms in nuclear fusion creates new entities with properties that transcend that of the components from which they were made My Fusion portfolio examines “coming together” on a macro scale - relics of our industrial past gathered at salvage yards and recycling centers. The objects in these photographs have been collected by virtue of their common material and randomly juxtaposed in time and space - yet somehow coalesce into a loosely woven whole. These images comment on our excess consumerism while exploring the photographic possibilities of haphazard scenes and chance occurrences.
